i disagree with the goose. It is a perfect example of what happens when controls, measures, safety procedures etc. are not met, and when peoples lives are entrusted to mindless, soulless governing bodies, such as the one governing chernobyl at the time. Your dim view of a future you will share is pathetic, not prophetic.

I disagree with Matt.
I think, a such accident could happen under every government. It is not because the soviets were governing at this time that the accident happend. It could have happened nowadays, for example, or even in Three Mile Island Nuclear plants in Harrisburg, PA. So I think, that we should stop thinking that the soviets caused the accident.
